Team Polti VisitMalta has brought its 2026 Giro d’Italia campaign to a successful close, delivering an outstanding performance throughout a race that showcased the team’s competitive spirit and determination to fight until the very last stage. As the team’s Official Sponsor, OK Mobility proudly supported the Italian squad throughout one of the most demanding and prestigious cycling events on the international calendar.
The final stage, held in Rome, concluded with an impressive second-place finish for Giovanni Lonardi, who was only beaten in the sprint by Jonathan Milan. The result marked Team Polti VisitMalta’s second stage podium of this year’s Giro and capped off a collective performance defined by consistency, ambition and resilience.
Over the course of the three-week race, the team finished 12th in the team classification, with Ludovico Crescioli securing the squad’s best overall result, placing 27th in the general classification and ranking as the eighth-best young rider of the race. The team’s achievements also included more than 1,000 kilometres in breakaways, Diego Sevilla winning the Breakaway Award, two second-place stage finishes, seven top-10 stage results and six days wearing the maglia azzurra.
